Number Plate - ID & Entitlement Requirements
The UK law and the DVLA have specific requirements for number plate suppliers, one of which is to obtain proof of ID & proof of entitlement to use a registration before issuing number plates.
We need to verify Original Documentation - please see below for a list of what is acceptable. Documents must have a visible reference and be dated within the last 6 months where applicable.
ID Requirements
- Digital Upload - Original PDF Bank Statement, Council Tax, Gas, Electric or Water Bill.
- A printed bank statement, council tax, gas, electric or water bill.
- Photo Card Driving Licence
- National ID card
- Digital Upload - Original PDF eV948 number plate authorisation certificate. This must be in date.
The remaining items we require the physical document to be able to verify. Please post these along with your order number/registration to our address provided in your confirmation email and we will return these to you securely at no additional cost along with your order. If you prefer you can also bring your documents to our office and we can verify them in person.
